Loomia helps you keep track of the people you work with. To do that it has to store what you tell it about them. This page says what that is, where it lives, and how you stay in control of it.
Who is responsible
Paul Thevenot runs Loomia and is responsible for your data. For anything about it, write to hello@getloomia.app.
What Loomia stores
- Your account: your email address, your first name, your photo if you add one, your language, your appearance setting, your time zone and your notification settings.
- What you enter: your contacts (names, phone numbers, email addresses, notes and tags), what happened with each of them, your workflows, your events and who came, your tasks, your goals and your month plans.
- Contacts from your phone: Loomia reads your address book only while you choose who to import, and saves only the people you tick.
- For notifications: a token that lets Firebase deliver them to your device, and the language they should be written in.
The people in your contacts
You decide what you record about the people you know. Loomia stores it on your behalf and never shows it to anyone else. Keep it to what you need to follow up well.
Where it is stored
Everything above is stored by Supabase, in the European Union (Ireland).
Who helps run Loomia
- Supabase: database, sign-in and photo storage.
- Sentry: error reports, stored in the European Union (Germany). A report holds technical details and your account’s id, never your email or your contacts.
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging: delivers notifications to your phone.
- Cloudflare: hosts this site and the web app, and keeps standard request logs.
- Google and Apple, if you sign in with them. With Sign in with Apple you can hide your email: Loomia then only sees Apple’s relay address.
These companies only process data to provide their service to Loomia.
Data outside the European Union
Supabase, Sentry, Cloudflare, Google and Apple are American companies, and some of them may process data outside the European Union. These transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the company is certified, and on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses otherwise.
What Loomia never does
No ads, no selling or sharing your data, no analytics, no tracking cookies. Apart from your sign-in session, nothing is kept on your device.
Why Loomia may use your data
- To run your account and the app you signed up for (the contract between us).
- To find and fix errors and keep the service secure (legitimate interest).
How long it is kept
As long as your account exists. Error reports are deleted after 90 days at most.
Deleting your account
In the app, go to Settings → Account → Delete account. Your account and everything in it, photos included, is deleted at once. It can’t be undone.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, and object to how it is used: write to hello@getloomia.app. You can also complain to the French data protection authority, the CNIL.
Age
Loomia is a tool for running a business: you must be 18 or over to use it.
Changes
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes too. A significant change is announced in the app before it applies.
